Bear with me!
I am currently working through a backlog of research, reports, and projects to build this portfolio. Covering subjects from physics and engineering to economics, policy, and strategy. If there is anything you would like to see sooner, feel free to get in touch!
Australia’s National Energy Infrastructure
This document presents a high-level strategy for Australia’s transition to a modern, resilient, and renewable-integrated national energy system. It analyzes current infrastructure gaps, outlines long-term risks from both demand-side growth and climate stressors, and proposes a roadmap for generation, transmission, and distribution upgrades. The plan emphasizes grid decentralization, regional development alignment, and coordination between federal, state, and private stakeholders to future-proof Australia’s energy network.
Affordable Housing Feasibility
This report investigates the feasibility of delivering affordable housing at scale across Australia, focusing on cost analysis, construction models, and public-private delivery mechanisms. It outlines structural challenges within the housing sector, particularly regarding land availability, construction bottlenecks, and investment behaviour, and proposes scalable policy solutions for equitable housing distribution. The study is designed to assist policymakers in balancing affordability, sustainability, and urban density while ensuring long-term economic viability.
Redesigning the University
This comprehensive education policy proposal calls for a systemic redesign of Australia’s tertiary education model to increase equity, flexibility, and relevance. It critiques the traditional university structure through the lens of class, neurodivergence, and geography, and proposes a new system based on self-paced learning, digital infrastructure, and continuous assessment. Backed by global case studies and cost-benefit modelling, the report serves as both a critique and a blueprint for implementing a more inclusive, adaptive, and economically sustainable higher education system.
Energy Grid Optimisation
This project applies machine learning to national energy consumption data to forecast future demand and model infrastructure stress points across the grid. By integrating AI with national planning objectives, the report provides a framework for dynamic energy load prediction, strategic generation placement, and real-time infrastructure decision-making. The aim is to improve grid efficiency, reduce systemic risk, and align energy network development with renewable energy goals and long-term climate strategy.
Ocean Sequestration Project Feasibility
Designed an innovative system to remove carbon dioxide from seawater and combat ocean acidification, combining artificial algae media and sand-based mineral filtration. The project targets ecosystem restoration and carbon sequestration, with pilot deployments planned for the Swan-Canning Rivers and the Great Barrier Reef. Focused on scalable, renewable-powered engineering to enhance marine resilience and contribute to global climate solutions.
